Frida Blomberg Håvardstun & Magdaléna Manderlová met in Trondheim while they both studied at NTNU, Magdaléna at the art academy and Frida at music technology. Playing concerts around Norway and Sweden, they explored the experimental music scene. Their first EP  ‘In the Black Water I See the City’ was released under former name Pinecone in 2017, with music inspired by the quality and phenomena of sound itself, sonified objects and vocal improvisation.

As they both have a background in songwriting, gradually the duo turned their abstract, long lasting soundscapes into intricate songs with an experimental backdrop of organic sounds.

In the spring of 2020 they are releasing two singles from their upcoming EP.
